Fundraising

Adoption is an extremely costly endeavor.  We are choosing to adopt because we believe that we are responding in obedience to God’s call on our life.  But the truth is that we can’t do it on our own.  It’s not always easy to ask for help, but we are excited to see how God is going to provide through you, the Body of Christ.  We are so incredibly thankful for the support and encouragement we continue to receive from all of you. 

We have a goal to raise $24,000 to cover adoption costs.

What do adoption fees cover?  Well, the obvious answer is that you help us bring a child into our family, one who needs a forever family and home.  Of course adoption fees cover the paperwork and associated legal fees.  But, really, it’s SO much more than that.  As we’ve become more involved with Bethany Christian Services, we have been blessed to learn what an amazing, life-affirming, Christ-centered ministry it is.  Bethany is very intentional about providing counseling, support, and help in preparing both the birthparents and adoptive families involved in an adoption plan. 

Moreover, Bethany offers counseling, resources, and support to women in crisis pregnancies.  A woman might walk through their doors, receive services, and never return…but she doesn’t have to pay a dime.  This organization truly has a heart to serve those in need…those who are vulnerable…those who feel alone in the world…and give them hope. 

However, these additional services have to be provided for financially somewhere, and so that burden falls on those who choose to adopt.  If you feel led to help us finance our adoption, you will not only help us realize the dream of bringing home a baby into our family, you will also be a part of helping provide life-affirming resources to countless other women and their unborn babies.  It is a joy and privilege to partner with an organization like Bethany.
